About me…

I’m Sam, the owner of RevitalisEutopia.

I was introduced to Holistic Therapies when I was a naturally skeptic, yet open minded teenager. At 20 I suffered a major trauma which led to years of PTSD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, psychosomatic symptoms, eating disorders and agoraphobia. I had little to no quality of life for most of my 20’s. I relied on medication, spent years in and out of hospital and survival became the routine.

My interest in Reiki truly sparked when I trained in Reiki Level 1 through “Caring for Carers.” My Reiki Master at the time would visit my house weekly to give me a treatment and some weeks it was the only time I was pain free, able to relax and sleep without nightmares. Reiki gave me more pain relief than morphine, helped me sleep better than sleeping pills did and stopped my sickness quicker than anti sickness injections.

No Doctor could ever find any physical cause or reason for the extreme, debilitating pain I was experiencing (sometimes consistently for 2 weeks straight) because my pain was coming from emotions, from trauma. I was subconsciously creating it, yet I couldn’t control it.

I used to think “I wish there was a physical cause for this pain, then we could just medically fix it, that would be much easier.”

Questions burned in my mind: If I’m creating this pain, why can’t I stop it? Is anyone else suffering this? How many other illnesses do our bodies create? Why is this not a bigger topic of conversation? Why are we all not aware of Psychosomatic Symptoms?

This took me down a rabbit hole and I spent years researching, studying and trying to understand the mind-body connection.

It’s reported that “75% - 90% of all doctors visits are for stress related illnesses and conditions.”

“About 1 in 4 people who see a GP have physical symptoms that cannot be explained.” - NHS

2020 was my breaking point. I went completely manic and ended up in a Psychiatric Ward for 2 weeks. The day I walked out of that Hospital I remember thinking “I can’t keep walking the same walk and expect a different result.” From that day on I was unwaveringly determined to become well again. I spent 2 years forcing myself out of my comfort zone and putting everything I had learned about health, wellness, energy and regulation into practice every single day.

By 2022 the symptoms that once ruled my life had dissolved. I was living a completely “normal” pain free life, with no fear, social anxiety, depression, nightmares or PTSD symptoms.

Reiki played a massive part of aiding my suffering and I wanted to offer that same space to others; I wanted more than anything for everyone to experience this gift.

I went on to volunteer at the Lendrick Lodge for 6 months and completed my Reiki 1 (again), Reiki 2, Advanced 1, training for nearly 100 hours.

My love and connection with Reiki strengthened over the next year as I continued to practice. I volunteered with a Suicide Prevention Charity and offered treatments to others. Through that work, I gained meaningful experience and discovered deeper layers of how Reiki can support both myself and the people I work with.

In 2023 RevitalisEutopia was birthed and I spent 5 months in India where I trained to become a Yoga Teacher, studying various styles of Yoga, meditation, breathwork and Buddhist practices.

In 2025 I completed Advanced Reiki Level 2.

I am now a full time Reiki Practitioner and Yoga Teacher and I also host wellness events. I provide treatments in Care Homes, Hospices, Charities, Fairs, Salt Caves, mobile and distance.

I teach Yoga in various studios, gyms, events, online, charities, rehabilitation centres, schools and retreats.

I am a deeply empathetic person who works with genuine love, compassion, honesty, kindness and care.

I believe through experience rather than theory, that we hold far more inner power than we’ve ever been taught to believe. Our bodies are capable of much more than we realise and we can help ease the suffering we carry in our minds through these practices.

  • I’m deeply proud to be part of a pure, traceable lineage that stays true to the roots of the practice.

I completed my Level 1 Reiki training in 2015 through “Caring for Carers” with an incredible Reiki Master, John Mcgeough, and spent many years as a client of his learning and receiving Reiki weekly.

In 2022 I had an overwhelming desire to learn more about Reiki and how to become a practitioner for others. This is when I discovered Reiki Master and spiritual teacher, Victoria Lyons who is 8th in the lineage from Dr Usui (the founder of Reiki). I re-trained with Victoria in Level 1 and 2, then went on to complete Advanced Level 1 in 2023 and Advanced Level 2 in 2025.

I have invested over 100 hours in in-depth teachings, practices, knowledge and skills from both lineages. I have worked with Reiki for over a decade and not a day goes by that I don’t use it for my own benefit and the benefit of others.

Reiki is more than a treatment, tool or technique for me. it is a way of being, a lifelong companion and something I am extremely passionate about and forever grateful for.

  • My personal Yoga practice started in 2021. I have never been someone who enjoys the gym or working out, when I found Yoga it was nothing more than an enjoyable way for me to strengthen and move my body. I started attending Yoga classes and before I knew it, I was addicted. It was the most cherished part of my day and I was practicing every single day, sometimes twice a day.

I knew it made me feel incredible on more than a just a physical level but I never knew why. Throughout my time travelling I lived with a Yoga teacher in training who shared the deeper aspects of Yoga with me such as Pranayama, Philosophy, Sanskrit, meditation and my interest sparked. I began to understand Yoga is not about the physical practice, it’s a way of life, a gateway into the deeper layers of ourselves.

In 2023 I attended a Yin Yoga immersion weekend by Gemma Myran in Glasgow that blew my mind. I had always been fascinated with philosophy but something about Yogic philosophy spoke to the deepest parts of my heart and I needed to know more. I left feeling like I was floating on air.

I then booked a one way flight to India and spent 2 months absorbed in every aspect of Yoga. I completed 500 hours training, with Rishikesh Yogkulum, in Hatha, Ashtanga, Yin, Restorative, Pranayama, Meditation, Anatomy and Physiology, Adjustment and Alignment, Philosophy and Teaching Methodology.

I look back on these months often as it was one of the most pivotal, important and lifechanging experiences in my life and it gave me a solid foundation to be able to step into teaching.

I have shared the practice over the year in online and in-person in gyms, studios, rehabilitation centres, schools, wellness events, charities and retreats.

I am still and will forever be learning, practicing and studying all aspects of Yoga whilst sharing it lovingly, safely and authentically with you.

I am fully insured, hold a full PVG and have first aid training.
