What is a Reiki Treatment…
Reiki is a Japanese healing technique and a gentle, non-invasive Complimentary and Holistic Therapy.
Reiki works on an energy level and has an ability to relax the mind and body enough that our nervous system can settle into a deeply restorative state. This shifts us into rest and digest and our bodies repair systems start to work. It supports and “speeds up” the body's natural healing processes and works with the root cause of any issues or imbalances; mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Whether you're dealing with stress, anxiety, trauma, physical pain, medical or health problems or simply need a moment of peace, Reiki can offer deep rest and renewal.
It is recommended on Cancer Research UK’s website and is sometimes used as a palliative or supportive therapy for people with cancer, especially in Hospices.
It’s important to note Reiki is not a cure and should not replace medication or treatment. It is a complementary therapy that aims to help support you alongside other modalities.

Distance treatments are offered for those unable to attend in person, people who are in hospital, unresponsive or prefer to be in their own private space. There is more information on how distance Reiki works in the FAQ section.
Animals are naturally receptive to Reiki. This treatment is offered to support your pet in the same way it is offered to support you: physically, mentally and emotionally. In my experience, Reiki has sped up the recovery of cut paws, surgery and reduced anxiety, pain and stress from moving home, suffering trauma or introducing a new pet to the home.
Halo Therapy or Salt Therapy is a natural, deeply relaxing treatment that involves breathing in air infused with microscopic salt particles in a salt-filled environment.
As the fine salt particles are inhaled they travel through the respiratory system helping to reduce inflammation, clear mucus, enhance function and improve breathing. The salt also has natural anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.
Halo Therapy provides relief from asthma, allergies, sinusitis and helps ease skin conditions.
Both treatments deeply enhance relaxation, calmness, improve sleep quality and promote overall well-being.
I’m deeply committed to supporting people in care homes, hospitals and hospices. My work focuses on spending meaningful time with individuals receiving end-of-life care or living with cognitive impairments, offering treatments that bring comfort, grounding and human connection.
